Mission Statement:
To reduce hunger in New London County by providing free food resources to eligible sites in the community.

Vision Statement:
We will strengthen our community by offering food and guidance to every man, woman and child in their times of need.

Impact:

• The Gemma E. Moran United Way/Labor Food Center distributesfood annually through not for profit sites
  at no cost to those in need.
• The Food Center provides food to over 14,000 individuals each month.
• The Food Center supplies free food to:

  Pantries
  Community meal sites
  Day Care Centers
  Shelters for the homeless
  After-school programs
  Shelters for battered women and children
  Programs for the elderly - and many, many more.

• Donations of both food and money are received from individuals and organizations in our community.
  Every dollar donated buys 3.5 meals -Five dollars buys 18 meals!
