United Way Needs Assessment
United Way of Southeastern Connecticut in partnership with Lawrence + Memorial Hospital hired The Center for Research and Public Policy to provide resident and community leader input on quality of life, current standard of living and community met, under-met and unmet need. Although 95% of the repondents reported that thier quality of life was good or very good, almost 40% viewed thier financial standard of living as poor or declining. This appears to be a direct reflection of the current economy.
