Foxwoods will begin its second annual "Stuff the Bus" holiday giving program on November 1. They will be collecting new, unwrapped children's toys, blankets, pajamas, jackets and diapers from guests and team members to be donated to local families in need. Donations are accepted from 8 a.m. to Noon daily at the Foxwoods Bus Terminal, where a bus will be parked in Bay #1 ready to receive donations. Additional drop off locations will be set up throughout the property, including the Bus Lobby and Fox Tower hotel lobby. Guests are also invited to place their donation directly inside the bus. All proceeds benefit the Tommy Toy Fund, a partnership between United Way and The Bulletin. Stuff the Bus runs through December 8.
"This event was a huge success last year, and we're thrilled to be able to do it again and give back to our community," said John Voisinet, Director of Bus Marketing and Junkets, whose team is responsible for initiating the holiday event. "It's an honor to be able to help families in the area during the holidays, and we're looking forward to seeing the smiling faces of the children and families who will benefit from our donations. We're thankful for the support of our guests, team members, and the general public in joining our effort to bring joy to our community."
Many thanks to Foxwoods for their ongoing support of United Way and the Tommy Toy Fund!
