live and work in New London County receive services that will enable
them to become economically self-sufficient. To that end, programs
chosen for support must focus on one of the following areas:
- Individual and family case management designed to remove barriers
to economic self-sufficiency and/or
- Education and training for job procurement.
Any nonprofit organizations currently offering bi-lingual and
bi-cultural programs designed to reach Hispanic people in the target

will be given to those organizations willing to adopt United Way of
Southeastern Connecticut’s strict requirements for partner programs
including measurements for short-, intermediate-, and long-term outcomes
relating to client success rates. All of the specific requirements are
listed on the application.
