Flanders Fish Market in East Lyme is hosting a “dine and donate” event to benefit the Gemma E. Moran United Way/Labor Food Center.
The restaurant will donate 10% percent of all proceeds to the Food Center. Every dollar donated is the equivalent of three meals for local families in New London County struggling with hunger and food insecurity.
The event takes place on Thursday, May 12 between the hours of 4-8 p.m. only. Both dine-in and take out orders apply.

The Food Center provided the equivalent of 3.1 million meals last year through the emergency food network of programs in New London County and its Mobile Pantry. The program is operated by United Way of Southeastern Connecticut.
