Request for Proposals for Equitable Outcomes for Thriving Children

Proposals sought for programs driving equitable outcomes for children and youth in Groton and New London

United Way of Southeastern Connecticut is pleased to announce a request for proposals to partner on programs that drive positive change and improve outcomes for racial and ethnic minority children and youth in programs located in Groton and/or New London. The maximum award amount is $25,000. Deadline for submissions is August 15 at 5 p.m.

Eligible programs much have a physical location and program serving Groton and/or New London children and/or youth and who are not a current United Way Partner Program. Programs must align with at least one output and one indicator under Childhood Success or Youth Success. You must choose one of these two focus areas. The funding period for this opportunity is September 1, 2021 to August 31, 2022 with a required final report due 30 days after the end of the funding period. Eligible agencies must have been inexistence for at least three years and must adapt or modify an existing program to improve outcomes for racial and ethnic minority participants.
