Why Join? Young Leaders is a great opportunity for young professionals to meet others who want to give back to New London County through United Way! The group offers social and professional opportunities as well as the experience of fundraising and volunteering for a community cause.

Serve. Volunteer and community engagement activities offer members the opportunity to give back to the community in an impactful and meaningful way at various agencies throughout New London County. Much of the engagement focus is on the Gemma E. Moran United Way Labor Food Center to address the high rate of food insecurity in our community. These activities focus on both fundraising and volunteerism.

Lead. Networking and professional growth opportunities allow members to participate in learning events, networking, and knowledge sharing for both personal and professional growth. These will also focus on United Way’s community impact work to gain a deeper understanding about the health and human services needs and opportunities in New London County.
