Keeping Spirits Bright 2026

This December, Groton will come alive with the glow of holiday lights as residents and businesses join together to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. Through festive displays and community events, we aim to spark meaningful conversations, honor those we've lost, and remind everyone that their light matters.

Keeping Spirits Bright is a visible act of love.  When homes glow with holiday lights and display a name in remembrance, something powerful happens:

  • Grief becomes shared
  • Names are spoken
  • Connection replaces silence

Our vision began in honor of Abi's life but our hope is that it grows into a community wide movement of compassion. Whether you choose to donate, sponsor, or participate by decorating your home or business, your support will help us light the way for a brighter, more compassionate community.
